20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Event & Auction 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Scott & Michelle Suskauer, criminal defense trial attorneys and partners in the West Palm Beach-based Suskauer Law Firm, Co-Chaired the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County's 20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Event & Auction.

Legal Aid Society hosted its Annual event at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach on Saturday, May 10. The Suskauer’s co-hosted along with Amy and Matt Triggs for the second year in a row. The theme of the event was The Roaring 20's and guests enjoyed a silent auction, dinner buffet, awards ceremony and entertainment from the students at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

The event honors more than 2,500 attorneys for their pro bono service to our community. Funds raised during the auction benefit 16 Legal Aid projects that help disadvantaged children, families and individuals who live in Palm Beach County to be safe from abuse, to enhance their opportunities and living conditions, to receive benefits and education that they are entitled to by law, and to promote self sufficiency.

Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1949. Legal Aid's mission is to provide equal access to the judicial system for the disadvantaged living in Palm Beach County. Projects include the Domestic Violence Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, Foster Children's Project, Ryan White Project, Fair Housing Project and Elder Law Project.
